What is it that you people aren't getting? That something isn't 'funny' just because you say it is?

No, one is a dick, the other isn't.

Which are you?
In this situation? The one having ableist slurs thrown at me and being called 'over-sensitive' for not liking it. You can take the other role if you want.
My comment was about Chad Smith's schtick I must have skipped past where someone got on you.

They're both relevant though; I didn't appreciate Chad's 'joke', that's where it started. But apparently I'm not allowed to say that because he's giving a bunch of money to charity, and because RHCP are totally kewl.

Then I stand by my statement. I'm for Chad's right to try and be funny and your right to be offended by it. If the discussion as to whether or not the joke was funny descended into personal attacks on you then that's not cool.

What's the difference between personal attacks on me, and Chad's personal attack on everyone that takes medication? You can think what you like, but ultimately if you watch someone get punched, and respect the right of the bully to punch, that's pretty strange. People need to get off this idea that words don't mean anything, and if they mean something to you, it's your own fault. The sad thing is you'd probably think I had a point if you felt no need to defend this shitty band.

I'm over this comment by Mr. Chad Smith, by the way, but apparently the issue needed repeating. So because I'm a mug, a sucker for punishment, I'll keep giving people the chance to understand.

I don't particularly like the RHCP. I don't own any of their music. Not sure where you got that. I'm sure if someone explained to Chad that what he said could be offensive he would probably feel bad about it. If he said screw that I think its funny then he's an ass, but I defend his right to be an ass. I just won't have anything to do with him. You know someone could be offended that you personally attacked all the members of the band based on what the drummer said. Stating that the art that people spent their life creating is shit is pretty mean.

OMG I offended billionaires who get whatever they want whenever they want, by criticising their music, the very thing they put out into the public domain for criticism and scrutiny. You're right, I am a horrible person, I shall go and cry and think about what I've just done.

Wow.

Example? Sorry I don't spend hours making my posts, I post something quickly, usually for humor or if I find a PJ article, or say War Child (charity for the harms of war) People take themselves way too seriously on this forum, like it fucking matters. Long drawn out posts about Sirens or something. Sad. Like "oh god Eddie took a picture with One Direction, what does this mean for MEEEEE and my crazy fucking sad lifeeeee."

Seriously though I doubt harmless is mentally ill and I don't want to insult anyone really. The meds thing is Chads fault. Fuck you Chad Smith.
So what, if you say something that someone else finds offensive, then they're taking themselves too seriously, you're not being a douche?

Oh, the part where you referred to other people getting annoyed about other things that have nothing to do with me or this situation at all, and you're pathologically unable to tell the difference? Yeah, I read that bit.
