It's a terrible game, there's nothing to get. The single player campaign is sorta fun as a cinematic gaming experience goes but the multiplayer is virtually unplayable. The first MW game was great and i logged a lot of time on it, and the second one was decent but MW3 was awful. i bought it on release day and sold it 5 days later. The game focuses too heavily on rewarding players for kills and streaks instead of completing objectives so no matter what kind of game you're in it just turns into a free-for-all deathmatch. there are much better multiplayer FPS's out there...or at least there were a couple years ago before i got bored of the genre.
I still like to play each edition's single player but I agree with everything you posted.

CoD campaigns have been terrible after CoD2. It went from incredibly intense WW2 warfare to linear as fuck bullshit real fast. Fuck CoD.

Also, the 3DS is a disaster. Don't go anywhere near it.

I've tested one out in a store when they first came out and the 3d strained my eyes after a little bit, but when I adjusted the depth it was better. There's just something about that game that looks like a Final Fantasy Tactics, but with more depth.

Still grinding my way through Skyrim. A very pleasant way to while away my small amount of free time while I wait for Bioshock Infinite, GTAV and The Last Of Us.

So Playstation 4 looks pretty awesome. I've never bought the first generation release of a new console (hardware usually gets better/cheaper 2nd time around) but I think I might make an exception this time. Not really big on the vita integration and social shit, but the rest looks great.
Some cool games too. Watch Dogs looks pretty innovative, and Sony seems to be taking a cue from the game's that helped xbox's early success with Driveclub and Destiny (whatever that race was called & Halo)

Do people expect the PS3 to drop in price over the next 3-4 months? I think I'm still planning on getting one of those and not a new console, but I don't want to buy one and then see the price drop a week later.

If revenue comes from selling games not selling consoles then what is with the no physical discs on PS4? Or am I missing something? I also hope they don't mess with the controller too much, the dualshock must live on for all eternity.

less physical games means less cost?
