Clearly, there was a lot of good albums out in '94. Nobody's yet mentioned one of my favorites from that year, though.

At least those have the decency to put the performer's name and album title on the fucking cover so I don't have to guess what they are.

There's one more step before we can do that, and it's a Dream Year Tournament in which we vote for the best year for music based on hypothetical albums released by made-up dream bands.

it's rather funny that there's something to argue about in this thread.

Let's get it down to 5 years from say 1991 to present day, change the thread title, and add a poll.

I am reading 91, 94, 98, 02, 06.

The next step would be a tournament using albums from the selected years.

I don't know how I could have forgotten this - this album got a lot of rotation in 94 and for many years after

If it is not too late to weigh in, while 91 and 94 are both great years I prefer 91. Please forgive the lack of visual aids

All my bros in college would totally agree the '91 was the best.
