It's in the rule book

I think the DQ was unnecessary. It clearly wasn't intentional. Penalize him a set or something

Anyone who plays tennis knows it's an extremely emotional game.

That match was bonkers. Feel for Humbert. The crowd won that match.

Once again this is so multi-layered.

This shouldn't be political but it is. State govt vs National govt. A leader who wants to appear strong. Vaccine pros/cons esp for sports people whose body is the livelihood. Border protection on the whole. And finally how Australia treats its refugees.

Bottom line he is a human and shouldn't be used for someone's agenda. The mismanagement of Omicron and NSW's/Australia's "let it rip" strategy has been shifted from headline news by this. Fickle media and fickle citizens.

This kid's the real deal. Just taken the first set in powerful style.

Exciting stuff this. He has big guts too - he came back to win the other night from 2 sets down. Amazing poise from one so young.
Could this be the semi final? Can Nick hold his shit together? Is his shoulder injury more serious than we think?

Gosh I hope he does it. But to lift the trophy he has to beat Raf and the Djoker.

Kyrgios essentially defeated himself. If he fixed his mental and worked on his return he'd snatch himself a slam.

He actually has the complete package to win it all. Except his head. His head is fucked. And he doesn't care enough to put the required work in.

I have been 'on his side' as a fan since first seeing him, but man, he is tiring to watch and harder and harder to like.

His constant abuse against his own players box is both obnoxious and pretty damn embarrassing as well.

Djokovic is a god damn machine though. I was sooo hoping he would throw a "Kyrgios Special" underhand serve in at 6-3 in the tie break. Would have been a perfect way to win against Kyrgios.

It's cringey as hell. Abusive relationship vibes.
