Agreed. The drums being forward in the mix really adds to things.
And Paul Banks sounds great.

Also, I’m seeing these guys in November. Coincidently, it’ll be my first Interpol show since the Antics tour in October 2004.

Stella just came on shuffle and any time I hear any song off Bright Lights it always stops me in my tracks and bowls me over. Honestly it might be the best album of all time

"See out Loud" is okay but I really like the title track. Kind of a different sound for them, reminds me of Broken Social Scene.

Totally agree, they need to shake things up a bit, hopefully this new one will bring that.
the last couple ones weren’t bad per se but not really memorable either.
