Nah, I don't get upset if a movie doesn't live up to the hype. Expectations aren't a factor for me while I'm actually watching a movie.E.H. Ruddock wrote:oh boy. Are you crushed?LoathedVermin72 wrote:this movie is mediocre, guys

What did you expect with a title like Furry Road?Rangi Guy wrote:It's just a feminist piece of propaganda isn't it?

It's a lot to unpack while I'm typing on my phone, but Hardy is wrong for the role, the action is superficially impressive but never truly expressive or lyrical (the last three Fast and Furious movies have sequences that outdo this movie), the score is generic and does not sell the set-pieces nearly enough (the classical music in the trailer should have played through the entire movie), the digital cinematography is distractingly rough and choppy, the characters and narrative fail to create an emotional connection, and the subtext is simplistic, didactic, and stale. I hope someone else directs the next Mad Max.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Well, break it down for me.LoathedVermin72 wrote:Nah, I don't get upset if a movie doesn't live up to the hype. What kind of holes do you have in your yard!?BurtReynolds wrote:30 seconds after posting that, my fatass dog jumped or fell into a hole he couldn't get out of.
but i dragged him out. Coming up bmac!
Construction next door. We sneak over and snoop around at night. They dug a small but deep hole in front of one of the houses. My dog is pretty big but he isn't exactly an athlete.E.H. Good thing he has you. Did you pretend that you had to save him in a hurry before a group of bandits returned?BurtReynolds wrote:Construction next door. We sneak over and snoop around at night.
