my ratio has been taking a hit the last few days even though i'm using the free leach tokens... has this been happening to anyone else?

edit: crap, i just realized the free leach is good for 96 hours or when the download completes (whichever comes first)... there are definitely some that have been going longer than 96 hours

Consider: tokens are only valid for a certain amount of time (72 hours I think? Don't quote me on that), so anything downloaded after that will be counted. So if it's a slow download or if you shut your client off and resume it later, or pause an individual torrent and resume it later, the download will count.

Fuck what & waffles. You can get anything you want if you know where to look, and you don't have to bend over for those smug assholes with their ratios and rules.

Tokens are good for 96 hours, so DL immediately and then seed. My ratio has improved which is a huge bonus, think I'm going to use the rest of my tokens to upgrade a few catalogs.

Sure, but it's not as easy. Keeping a ratio is simple if you can think; I personally don't feel like scouring blogs or archive search sites or waiting to download a possibly tainted public tracker leak. And of course there is usenet but really? Be responsible, manage a ratio.

And with what.cd's database they can be as smug as they want.

The ratio and stuff really doesn't bother me because i want to be able to help others get the music too, so i wanna see my ratio go up cuz it means more and more people are getting music
