I'm really hoping Mrs Rangi has downloaded this so I can give it a listen
You've got a couple of days.Rangi Guy wrote:I'm really hoping Mrs Rangi has downloaded this so I can give it a listen
yeah, no matter what you think of the album that was pretty awesome.LetMeSleep wrote:The back half is definitely more interesting. The whole album feels rather fresh.
Great publicity job for the band too.
I don't purchase anything on itunes so I haven't done any of that. Plus, if it auto-downloads PURCHASES why does it auto-download this fucking thing that I have actually NOT PURCHASED? As far as I know the free singles of the week on iTunes are not automatically added to my library just because they're free, I'd need to actually decide I want them for that to happen. This is not a big deal but this is literaly the same shitty thing that people who send unsolicited mass e-mails do. This is spam, period. I can't believe people think this is a great move. No wait actually I can believe it.surfndestroy wrote:That's nothing U2 did, that's a setting you've placed on your account to auto-download purchases. You know, it doesn't actually download it automatically. It just makes the album available in your cloud automatically, you still need to hit on the 'cloud download' button to actually download it to your computer/phone.Heathen wrote:I don't purchase anything on itunes so I haven't done any of that. But it was added my my music regardless. It was added to this playlist where all the albums tagged 2014 automatically go so if I went there unknowingly and hit play this crap would have been there and it would have been playing. So what fucking difference does it make whether it's in the cloud or not? It makes none. You just don't force your shitty band's shitty new album into my playlists without my consent. And that goes for non-shitty bands too.Sgt. Crackpot wrote:You know, it doesn't actually download it automatically. So...
You're right. Proper circlejerking requires your full attention.Lament wrote:Can we just have a thread for people who whine about every single thing U2 does to hang out in so those of us who actually want to talk about their music can do so?
It does. And a "We hate U2 thread!" would let all of you circlejerk over how fucking cool it makes you to hate U2 in 2014 without the horrible annoyance of dealing with people who have actually listened to the record in question and would like to share their thoughts on it with each other.Heathen wrote:You're right. Yeah because making a couple of posts about the shitty way this album was released is totally about being cool for not liking U2. You're better than that, Lament, you sound like stip in PJ Chat right now. But hey if it hurts too much to have to hear a negative opinion about your band I sincerely apologize and next timeLament wrote:It does. You made one of the first five or so posts in this thread. And it wasn't about how the album was released or to complain about it automatically downloading. Before any of those topics came up in here, you were already posting in this thread. So you're gonna need a better excuse for your initial presence.Heathen wrote:Yeah because making a couple of posts about the shitty way this album was released is totally about being cool for not liking U2.
