The chorus is urgent, abrasive and unmelodic. I think it's perfect for the song.

Man Binaural is such a great gem in their career. I dont think there is a bad song in the whole album. And the sessions were great if we count music like Thunderclap, Harmony, Fatal, In the moonlight...great stuff.

I would love to see a doc about those sessions.

and unpleasant to listen to. A fire alarm is perfect for its role, but I get pissed off when it goes off.

I think there's only 4 songs on Binaural I care about. 3-4 more if you include the whole session.

The Avocado album is actually unpleasant to listen to because it's brickwalled to shit. It's actually taxing on the ears. You only think the "Evacuation" chorus is unpleasant to listen to because you're a dainty little flower who can't handle a bit of dissonance.

How does Ed sound bad in Evacuation? The live versions are pretty rough but the album version is magical. The layered, resonating vocals in the outro reminds me of The Police. The choruses are simple and abrasive but driven by really cool bass lines (which are hard to hear, as usual)...the same as the verses of Get Right.

Someone had to muck up this conversation of good songs by bringing Get Right into it. :shake:

I'm always kind of surprised when my name comes up in biggest fan conversations. People forget just how much of their catalog I don't give a shit about. They just remember The Fixer.

Going forward I am going to imagine that your batman is dancing to the evacuation chorus. that just bumped the song up at least half a star.

Try bobbing your head more, while you listen. It'll help.
