I thought it was cool that they dove in without forewarning. These kinds of things are usually trumpeted pretty far in advance, which takes away the surprise.

My reason for cursing my luck would be that I have never attended a show in my life and if I ever get the chance, I wouldn't want them to be playing Riot Act, of all albums. An ideal setlist for me would be heavy on the first three records and the hits from the later albums. Then, they could play whatever else they want and I'll be happy. This hypothetical show probably never will happen for me, but we're allowed to dream. :)
Doesn't this describe like 90% of their set lists from the past 8 years?

That's just how much I love the Kansas City Chiefs.

Probably does, but it would be the first time I would ever attend a show in person so it would be great for me to get most of the hits.

I don't have any expectations of a Pearl Jam show other than they play well and hopefully play a well-chosen mix of songs from their catalogue, I'm never chasing anything specific.
Have you only seen Adelaide shows?

I've seen the above 3 songs 4, 3 and 4 times out of 6.

Seen BMan, Cord and EFlow 6/6 with DTE and Alive 5/6.

The set for 2006 Adelaide 2 was a great idea. How was it in person? And when did you work out what was happening
Since this is so much fun, I went and looked at my most commonly heard songs-

22 shows total for me

Even Flow - 22/22
DTE - 20/22
Alive - 19/22
Corduroy - 19/22
Better Man - 18/22
Given to Fly - 16/22
Daughter - 14/22
Black - 13/22
Jeremy - 13/22

see, this is basically a list of songs I am most excited to hear at a show. maybe not even flow or daughter anymore, but the rest of them...

They always kill it, but I could go the rest of my life never hearing Alive live again. Again, they always do a great job and the crowd gets into it. But it doesn't do anything for me anymore.

I would suspect that's pretty common.

I'm 7/12 for "No Way"

I would have to check but I think "Elderly Woman" is the only song I have heard at every show.

I'm hoping for a Backspacer show one day just to see the bloodbath that would ensue on social media.
