I asked my 6 year old what her favorite food group was yesterday. Her answer was pretzels and ice cream.

So Pretzel dough experiments were taken to a new level in the skitchp household today.
Fresh Pretzel Cinnamon Rolls, with homemade Caramel glaze.

This is actually quite good. A bit salty. It does have that pretzel-taste, but not in a bad way.

I love soft pretzels very much but yes they are often much too salty

Yes, I won’t replace bread with this, but it’s a nice alternative. Probably good with beer.
I tried it with some butter, ham and gouda.

Just tried this. Very good, can definitely taste the meat more. That said...I still think pretzel buns are better. Just can’t beat that texture.
