I wish I knew if she is hot or not. I can never tell.stip wrote:man, I wish I knew what she was saying.

But even if you think Why Go is just average its sandwiched between what are arguably Pearl Jam's two most classic songs.harmless wrote:Na, 'Why Go' spoils that run.

Yes, what you have is an amazing two-punch, if that's what it was. As a three-punch, the Yield first three are way better.Thejambi wrote:One part can ruin the whole.Thurman Murman wrote:But even if you think Why Go is just average its sandwiched between what are arguably Pearl Jam's two most classic songs.harmless wrote:Na, 'Why Go' spoils that run.
I would probably go faithful-No way-GTF but I wouldn't argue against the first 3 too hard.harmless wrote:Yes, what you have is an amazing two-punch of that's what it was. Yeah I think my original comment was about intros to albums but I can't remember...Thejambi wrote:I would probably go faithful-No way-GTF but I wouldn't argue against the first 3 too hard.harmless wrote:Yes, what you have is an amazing two-punch of that's what it was. is a scrummy mummy a good thing or a bad thing?Juvenal wrote:She's got a young Allison Janney thing going on (who is, incidentally, a highly scrummy mummy)
It's totally awesome if you can get a babysitter.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:is a scrummy mummy a good thing or a bad thing?Juvenal wrote:She's got a young Allison Janney thing going on (who is, incidentally, a highly scrummy mummy)
I think ST is a very good album that is under appreciated. It lays a couple logs towards the end but overall it is a strong album. However, I find it borderline unlistenable due to the production.liebzz wrote:I like to look at albums in the perspective of the forest from the trees. I think there might be issues with the production, but from a song quality perspective I think this album is top notch. I just love that they released this when they did. A pure rock album that was a breath of fresh air after two very heavy (but absolutely great in their own right) sounding albums. Even though they were still covering some heavy topics, the delivery had some much needed air. It felt like they were following their instincts where in the past they may have fought against them a little to make sure they needed to give a more cohesive feel. Maybe that doesn't make much sense, but that was kind of how I felt at the time, and how I feel now.
