And people fucking call ME a hipster every chance they get.

Why wouldn't I buy the one with more songs on it?

I'm 100% on your side, Pete. You did the right thing and I applaud you for it. I'm just mad because if I'd posted that, like 47 RMers would have jumped down my throat about it and called me the h-word.
I'm just jealous and wish I was as cool as you.

This is actually one of my biggest musical media pet peeves, I usually try quite hard to find the edition of an album
without bonus tracks. They hamper the listening experience; when I put an album on I want it to finish at the intended end point and not after a random grab bag of b-sides, demos and so on.

Looks like Burt's "best reproduction" thread was modded so I will just put this here:
"Which album has the best reproduction?"
Tough to say. "Ten" has a song about a mother seducing her son; "Binaural" has one where Eddie speculates on what gives wealthy software tycoons erections; "Backspacer" has a song where the singer daydreams about the "warmth" of a record cover model's nether regions; "Lightning Bolt" features one song about reptile sex, and another where Eddie makes reference to his father's semen. "Vs." through "Yield" feel pretty asexual to me, unless you interpret "Leash" as being about S&M, which might actually make the song more interesting; I can't imagine the Eddie of 1993-1996 thought about sex very often, what with all the pain he was feeling on account of being a celebrity at the time. "Riot Act" and "S/T" are likewise pretty sexless, though it's disappointing that two records centered around the failings of two leaders named "Bush" and "Dick" contain so few opportunities for double-entendre.
Pearl Jam is probably the most asexual rock band of all time.

It was to be the first installment in an in depth analysis of sexual innuendo in Pearl Jam's Music, but SOMEONE decided that was innappropriate.
Anyway, of the Big Four grunge bands, I'm having trouble coming up with a ranking. Nirvana had Rape Me- that's gotta count for something, but AiC seemed preoccupied with singing about how much heroin sucks. Surely Soundgarden has a few sex songs.
