Yeah that movie sucked. It was a pointless exercise in ego. Particularly when The Edge started riffing on Ramones songs. GROSS.

i used to hate him when everyone was praising the white stripes as this great, amazing band...i just couldnt hear it.

These days, i enjoy him in the DW, and maybe some WS songs.

It is. I'm sure a whole essay could be written about it (from a Catholic standpoint), but the man is not paid to be articulate on the spot.

It is. I'm sure a whole essay could be written about it (from a Catholic standpoint), but the man is not paid to be articulate on the spot.

It's a banal, asinine observation regardless of how eloquently put (or not) it is.

He's driving a car, playing an electric guitar, (presumably) flying on a plane to participate in a boring documentary with aging rock stars.

Technology itself is neutral, just a tool. The boundaries he sees are entirely subjective and artificial.

The interview he did with Conan was pretty good, at least until he seems to get a little drunk and rambling towards the end.

No, I mean, I know exactly where Jack is coming from, but I don't know how to commuincate it to spenno to where he'd understand.

People embrace suffering & struggle in their life & in their art. It's taking the road less traveled. Out of that comes work you never knew you had in you unless you were boxed into a corner and forced to start swinging. It's the battle of good & evil in you. Technology tends to make things simpler and easier for people, and that's not always appealing to guys like Jack. If you told him to fill his boots full of jagged rocks and told him to walk to the supermarket instead of driving his car, Im sure he would.

If that attitude produces raw emotions in him & his work, then that's something I can get behind.

Stephanie Ann Gonis Auerbach alleges that the unspecified abuse culminated in an incident in which she “superficially” cut herself on her legs and ankles. But Dan Auerbach said she has made two suicide attempts and that one was made in the presence of their child. His wife denies it.
Stephanie Auerbach said in the records that she sought treatment at a residential treatment facility.
Dan Auerbach has primary custody of their child. A judge gave his estranged wife supervised visitation rights with the child, until she can show “that she is not a potential danger to the child.”
A publicist for Dan Auerbach declined to comment Tuesday.
