The Beggars reissue is superb. I don't know if they've done the albums from Sticky on...

I've half-heartedly thought about trying to get a ticket, it's not as though they're going to play here again, but I probably won't.
Yeah, I'm going.

It'll be a fun night, hopefully.
Have a blast tonight Spenno. Hope Barnesy doesn't ruin it for you.

It was fun, more or less.

Kind of bizarre trying to enjoy music in such an insanely large venue, hard to escape the feeling that you're witnessing something cool happening in the far, far distance.

At the risk of indulging my inner curmudgeon, I'm continually shocked that anyone would bring their young children to a rock concert. On the one hand, it's seriously (and potentially dangerously) loud, even I had to resort to earplugs halfway through as I was beginning to get a headache. On the other, it was full of loud drunk idiots which is hardly the kind of environment I'd willingly subject my kids to. I'm not sure what it is about rock concerts in particular that causes people to feel as though basic politeness and consideration of those around you become irrelevant concepts the moment you walk through the doors (and, good lord, don't get me started on the state of the men's toilets).

Sometimes I read your posts in the voice of Julia Child

When I let myself get dragged along to that last Terminator movie, it was a 10:00 PM showing and there were at least two couples there with children. One was a toddler who cried because he was scared (they just kept telling him to be quiet). The other was a baby who woke up ten minutes into the ear-piercingly loud movie, whereupon his parents acted like he was really putting them out.

It had me rooting for the terminators.

not sure about the aussie leg, but during the us leg earlier this year, they'd put up five songs or so on their website a couple days before each show and the one with the most votes would be played.

Stones play nothing but their hits. and each tour, they would throw in one or two rarities that they would switch up for the ENTIRE TOUR.

can you say boring as fuck?
