One-hit wonders, egregiously so.

Pretty sure thats the "hit". Was there another one?

Most people wouldn't know he hasn't stopped touring since.
Puts on a great show too.

Mine has to be Blind Melon...both their proper records are pretty fantastic.
Tones Of Home

Is there a better Blind Melon song?
Favorite Blind Melon songs (no particular order):
Tones of Home
Change
No Rain
Galaxy
Vernie
2X4
Toes Across the Floor

Vernie might be my number one.

Was “Baby’s Got Sauce” a hit? G. love got some play in my circle of friends back in the 90s and early 00s. There are probably a number of songs that I thought were hits but that was just because my friends played them.

Truth.

My favorite G Love song was called “Parasite”. It was from the Electric Mile album. I saw G Love and Special Sauce on tour for this album. My buddies and I went backstage after the show and met the band. I got my backstage pass autographed by all three members (I think I had an album signed too). I think that was in 2001. I probably haven’t heard a single G Love song in at least a decade now, and I honestly can’t quite remember how my favorite song went. It’s been a looooooooooong time.

Most of my favorite one hit wonders are happy or happy sounding songs.
New Radicals - Get What You Give
Katrina & The Waves - Walking On Sunshine
Blur - Song 2
Violent Femmes - Blister In The Sun
Romantics - That What I Like About You
Autograph - Turn Up The Radio
Berlin - Metro
Think I’m going to try being kind to everyone a chance.

Was this a hit in the US? Cool 8-)

I can't hear it without thinking of this classic Gina Riley parody:

The Divinyls had a great career here in Oz - here's their best if not most popular song:
