Either that or Atlanta '94 or Melbourne '95/98....
i would actually be pretty happy with a complete, official release of the atlanta show from 1994. i'm sure i have most of the tracks, but having it come in cool packaging w/ pics, setlist, etc. would certainly be something i would drop money on in a heartbeat. that might be my favorite show though, i still remember listening to it live. were all 3 of those shows played live on the radio?
yes.

See if they had released a full version of the Atlanta 94 show on vinyl. I would have bought that. i feel like that show is part of my childhood.

Saw this for sale at the store last night
The timing of this bootleg release and the Vault release is interesting. Was the Vault release a reaction to this vinyl bootleg?

given the extra long pre-order period compared to the last couple, i don't think it's a coincidence at all.

Agreed. Seems like they put the pre-order up as a reaction, and they're spending the next 6 months producing this thing, starting now.
So the bootleg with tax is roughly $35, is it considered worth the price to pay about $25-30 more for the official, soundboard version?
edit: I'm not asking for advice, I'm getting the official vinyl. Just curious if people think it's worth the extra cost.

From what I read - that bootleg is barely listenable, so I'd say that extra coin is well spent on the official release

Yes, it's thought to be PJ Radio sourced. So it's worse quality than the MP3s.

The previous official release of this show sounded great, I don't think there's any reason to doubt that the rerelease will sound significantly better than a low bitrate digital radio broadcast pressed to vinyl.

I bought this vinyl. I am not a complete audiophile, but it isn't that bad.

Fellas, fellas, fellas. For years, we begged them to start releasing the old concerts, and they finally did. Yeah, it hasn't been perfect - far from perfect - but five pages of mostly bitching about doesn't seem fair.

Find a company to start selling a crappy vinyl copy of 9-11-98 and see if Pearl Jam releases it officially eight months later.

That's some strategic thinking right there. How can I help make this happen?
