Probably the stupidest post I've ever seen on RM.

Yes, I have read some colossally stupid things on RM over the years but Kaius really wins the blue ribbon here.

You guys should tint your posts like the French flag. Mods?
I'm more than a little annoyed at people on my facebook page cheesing in front of various Parisian landmarks during their past trips to Europe. I know it comes from a place of goodish intentions but just something about it seems narcissistic.

That's the point of Facebook, isn't it? Endless narcissism?
I'll be really curious to see what Jesse Hughes will have to say when he finally re-emerges in the public eye.

Well, this would have turned out a lot worse, but it sounds like a lot of people were able to escape while the shooters were reloading. So we could definitely spin this left and show why limiting magazine size actually does save lives. The more often a shooter reloads, the more chances you have to get away / stop the shooter.
but the right have already had a few people say "if the crowd had guns this would have ended sooner"

Because of course lots of people bring guns to a concert. It's up there with not wearing the t-shirt of the band you are seeing!

I think the knee-jerk "oh god, you can just bet the right-wing commentators will have a field day with this!" responses are just a mirror image of the same thing. By all means, criticise someone for dumb things they might've said, but the pre-emptive criticism just seems like the exact same sort of shallow, partisan point-scoring that people accuse conservatives of doing.

except, youre scoring points by knowing what the right wing commentators are going to say, because they just keep spewing the same thing, over, and over, and over, history keeps repeating itself.

Scoring points in what competition?

Red Team or Blue Team: Pick a side and stick to it at all costs, you limp-wristed, wishy washy "undecided".

I admit, it was a bit insensitive to Tommy's feelings, but I'm not sure how it is "stupid".
