I think "Only One" was the first of the new songs to premiere.
As much as I like "Only One", I'm a little skeptical that it's going to wind up on the final album. Am I alone in that?
Until the album drops, I wouldn't put too many chips on anything being on it. There were a few of the "GOOD Friday" tracks that I think a lot of people expected to see on "MBDTF" that didn't appear, or appeared in different form.

What about Metallica? I think my first "new" Metallica song was "All Nightmare Long", which I didn't even listen to.

My first new Metallica song was "Until It Sleeps." MTV played that video seemingly every 15 minutes during the summer of '96.
I've never heard of "All Nightmare Long."

I got into Pearl Jam from the Jeremy video....so after Ten was released but before Vs. I think Singles was already out there but i'm not sure if i discovered that before or after Vs. Vs. was probably the first new record from anybody that i bought on release day...at that point it was crazy anticipation. Go was the lead single and it blew my 15 year old mind!
