My friend ran into him walking down the street near chipotle in Uptown, Minneapolis after the Tom Petty Shows. I was at work. My friend calld me freaking out saying Mike McCready was walking towards him. My friend hung up and went to talk to him. Couple minutes later my phone rings and its mike. WE chatted for a bit about the show. I gave him shit for his guitar cutting out during MITS. I also told him if he is going to treat his guitars like that he could give them to me. I also told him he is the reason i picked up guitar. yadda yadda. Super awesome.

I can confirm Mike is really nice. I met him and Jeff when Tres Mtns played at the Black Cat in DC. I actually spoke to Jeff for awhile, he was super chill and actually kept the convo going a bit. My encounter with Mike was more brief, but in the short time we chatted, he was really nice, and really appreciative of the support.

This is technically a TOTD thing but watching it made me think of being Stone's Bitch yet again. The Bossman doesn't have time for post-show bows, he's already off to drink his fucking beer. See 4:49 of the following clip:
