My wife had that moment during Northern Exposure reruns and 30 Rock. She liked TP but not as much as I did.durdencommatyler wrote:I've almost never seen my wife enjoying television so much. She said, "This might be my favorite scene of TV, ever. No, EVER."
She's not wrong.
It's an acquired taste, for sure. I knew she'd take issue with things in Twin Peaks, but that the humor and warmness in people like Lucy and Andy and Pete would win her over. It's the perfect level of weird for her, too. I'm interested so see how she reacts to some of the shit that's about to go down in S2.LetMeSleep wrote:My wife had that moment during Northern Exposure reruns and 30 Rock. This is extremely good advice. I'll pass this along tonight. Word for world. Thank you, Reid.washing machine wrote:If she approaches that part of the series with the same sort of fascination, curiosity and admiration that Agent Cooper has for the people and the town of Twin Peaks, she'll come out on the other side of it just aces.

Sort of. But it's not something to spend too much time worrying about. Notice it, chuckle, and move along. It's not worth dissecting. It's very loose.wease wrote:So, I'm trying to figure out if there are any parallels between the storyline and the goings on from this soap opera everyone in Twin Peaks seems to watch.
