I like the new format. Good work stip (and anyone else that should be mentioned). I always enjoy the MM tourney, and I'm looking forward to it again.

At some point or another, I dug through the archives to find previous winners. My searching skills are surely fallible, so if you can find evidence of a March Madness winner that I missed, I'd be happy to correct the error.

I think we had at least one prior (it was the MM tournaments that really sucked me into RM,--that and the SOTM threads). Nick used to run them. I'm 90% sure In My Tree won one year.

I'm 90% sure it never won. It's one of those bizarre myths we have that always affects the way people claim they're voting. It's like when people believe Hamilton was President.

I remember years ago RM had a tournament for live bootlegs. I think Atlanta '94 won. Has anything like that been done since? I remember really loving that tournament because it forced me to collect a bunch of boots I never heard before and listen to them.


EDIT: IIRC, it must have been on the old board because I remember it was in '06 right around the time that, or in the lead up to, S/T was released
