Wonder if it would work as an opener?

Jesus, no. It has no business on a setlist at all.

Lucky. Lost my mind when I finally heard it in Brooklyn. Been waiting years and 37 shows to hear it. and it was worth the wait.
I swear, they opened with Oceans the 8 out of the 10 first PJ I saw. Of course, Ed could actually sing the refrain back then, but . . .
Quit trying to ruin my fun
I would love to hear Oceans again. My point directed at the surprise of Oceans as an opener.

Ok. Prince doing Even Flow was awesome. The boys really do need to listen to it and give some of that funky swagger back to it.

I thought it was a great opener. I know I'm still on a concert high, but the two shows I saw this week were better than any of the 6 I saw between 2009-2013

Yes I know. But even during the hits heavy second encore last night they seem like something is different between them all. In a good way.

Did they fuck up SoH? It was a disaster the last time I got it in 2011.

Between 820 and 835
How is this still a question people have?

Wasn't Low Light the second song at the Charlotte show we were at?

Also, I was just relieved after hearing a few notes that it wasn't Yellow Moon.
Maybe, but I'm a firm believer that the second song needs to kick you in the ass more. Like a Hail Hail or a Last Exit or a Breakerfall or an Animal.

Doubtful. Even though it is an infinitely better song than Small Town, it would have the same effect opening a show.

No I don't think so. They were all sitting down for it and footsteps, and both songs seemed pretty tight. The only song where I noticed a fuck up was DTE I think, and that was the lyrics.

SoH should get the full electric, stand-up treatment vs. it becoming part of the sit down set.

It wasn't acoustic. They just sat down to play it

That's what I figured. It just feels like the sound had more "sonic might" to it when they played it live in 2000. More distortion, etc.

I agree with Chud in that it hasn't sounded really good in awhile and I know standing vs. sitting might not be the issue...maybe it's just the way they play it now. Back in 2000, it felt more like the album version.

Someone on the pit said that stone starting alive was a mistake and it was supposed to be sonic reducer. Stone can be seen saying "sorry" to other guys in the band. :/

Yes, a "mistake".
