I just listened to both of these back to back and have changed my vote from RVM to SoH.

Sleight of Hand is the Pearl Jam I think I always hoped they could be in their later years. Too bad they moved past that time so fast.

RVM sucks

I love both of these songs, and for a short time Rearviewmirror was my favorite PJ song. Sleight of Hand is now number 3 or 4, but Rearviewmirror has fallen (slightly) further. I think I have to go with Sleight of Hand; with RVM I hear a maturation and a sharpening of the Ten sound. I just have no idea where Sleight of Hand came from, and would never have guessed this particular band was capable of a song like that.
