Dime, is the Clone Wars series a serialized saga or can I sort of pick and choose which episodes to watch?

It's kinda both. It definitely is part of a continuing story, but most of the episodes stand alone (or as 2-3 parts).

There are storylines running through the entire series but they jump around between them a lot too. Mostly good too. The filler episodes are annoying.

Yeah there's some crazy dark stuff in there for a cartoon.

The dark is fine. It's just not compelling. The follow up episode where Ventress serves as a Bounty Hunter is a bit better.

Man, this is so uneven. 3 dull episodes of droids in a relatively meaningless battle being led by a slug, followed by Maul, Savage and an in depth, complicated and very well done story about Mandalore and the Dark Saber.

Heard there's a list on wookieepedia that tells you what episodes follow what threads so you can just follow one thread through instead of random BS threads

Yeah. Very Good so far. Bounty hunters and seedy underworld stuff. Even sex and drug dens. I'm only 30% through.

Episode 10 when fisto (ugh) goes to grevious' base was really good. This is such an inconsistent show.
