I love this show but the next night in Hamburg is way better. That will probably never happen, though. I wonder if they have a full tape of the second Randall's Island show? That would be awesome even though we have a couple of nice recordings.

For selfish reasons, I'd love an Augusta release.

Augusta would be cool - rodman was wasted that night.
I thought he was going to drop Ed when he had him on his shoulders. Black, red, and yellow debut I think? If memory serves there was an eclipse that night. The moon was as large as I've ever seen.
Like you could almost touch it.

The 2nd red rocks show from 95 would be a cool vault release. Probably my most listened to boot 20 years ago in college (I'm old).

I just watched this on YouTube while going about my morning. Probably the many many months without hearing them helped, but I was surprised in retrospect by how much more nuanced their playing used to be. I also had forgotten how much blatant theater there was to Ed's stage presence, even post-94.

It feels weird to hear an Even Flow instrument break that's interesting.

Am I the only one that wants to hear some official boot from the Jack Irons era with the band??? We have hundred of shows with Cameron, and, if they wanted to release something from the Yield tour, this would be a good instance to give a chance to any of the Australian leg, with Irons on drums. Something from 1995-1997 would be great as well... But this, and the Bellingham seems pointless since we have already a show from the 98 North American tour with Cameron, and 62 shows from the 2000 tour, and almost every show since then, all with Cameron on drums.

I hope next time they really open the vault and release something from the period with Jack. His contribution to the band deserves to be reflected in a few official releases...

Didn't they do a '95 show release early on?

Not officially.

When they were first experimenting with making FLAC shows available on the old Basecamp system (before they moved to Kufala and then to Nugs, etc.), the first Washington DC show from 1995 briefly appeared as available to download as a kind of test. I can't remember how long it was available for, perhaps only a few hours on that first day. I presume it was intended as a fan gift, grab it while you can, type of deal.

Is this show any good? Thinking about picking it up. How does it compare to 98' DC vault release?

Release the San Francisco '95 show and have the cover art be an image of Ed barfing, in one of the Ames Bros poster styles

I've got a version of this '98 show at 160kbs but I can't quite tell if its a really good audience or a soundboard source. Has the soundboard of this already circulated pretty widely?

Earlier in the thread, people discussed there being an ALD/AUD mix. That's probably what you have.

Sorry just went back through I saw that. I skimmed through and thought they were talking about a Hartford show originally
