Earlier in the thread I said "Palindromes" was the most infuriating movie I'd seen and you said "interesting". Why is that? Did you like it?

I haven't seen it yet. But I love Todd Solondz, in general. Happiness and Storytelling are brutal, brutal films. But they're amazing to me, too. I've wanted to see Palindromes for a while now. It's always been high on the list. Your description has me wanting to see it even more.

Wanting to see it a little less now. I thought maybe the film was intentionally frustrating; that it worked on you the way it was meant to. That's what I took from your original post.

Anyone seen Birdemic? It's on Netflix streaming and the funniest movie I have ever seen. Bad doesn't even begin to describe it. The direction, dialogue, acting, and special effects are all atrocious.

Also - well, the movie probably isn't as bad as my overall experience watching it was - but The Thin Red Line comes to mind. I fucking hated that thing. I need to see it again now that I've had some distance and have gained a greater appreciation for Malick's work.

i havent seen it since i was probably 10 or so, but i thought i remembered liking it, though that doesnt mean it wasnt terrible
