His doctor told him to avoid recording studio lights and he'd look ten years younger

Let's not forget how Pearl Jam's Hall of Fame induction will actually go:

Pot. Had an arrest warrant out or something. Don't remember
For Pot? Really? It's practically legal. I bet you Eddie found out that Dave will be attending the RHOF induction so he's trying to make the least awkward as possible.

He apparently lives in Texas. Pot won't be "practically legal" there for another two or three centuries.

That or it was one of those "see look what they've become without me" deals.

Does anyone have the link to the 1994 Regal Theater version of Angel? It's the best version by far including studio

I don't see how any version beats the studio cut, with all the vocal layers and such...
In your opinion, what makes the Regal Theater version better than Bridge '92 or Dallas '93?

I'm just sayin'...
of all the versions I know of, the Chicago one is the worst. It's ok 'till the end when Ed tries to go up an octave, fucks up, and winds up going down an octave and loses all energy for the final crescendo of the song. Also, despite the great-looking setlist, I think Chicago '94 is a weak performance overall. Mike is horrible towards the end, cannot stick a solo to save his life, and fucks up YL pretty badly...

Fuck it... I'll rank the Angels:
1. Studio version (obviously)
2. Dallas '93 (biased, yes... but totally badass!)
3. Bridge '92 (great pro-shot footage)
4. Ride '16 (Full band version; Unbelievable set and setting!)
5. Chicago '94 (Ed fucks up and runs out of steam at the end)
