I can't walk anywhere in a timely fashion. My gf has battles and gyms and what not, where as I have to sit on the curb until she's done with it.

Does the little footstep tracker work right for anyone else? It always shows everything 3 footsteps away now and never gets any closer. Has actually taken a lot of the fun out of it.

I dont really care about battles or power ups. I just like to find ones we dont already have. Not being able to track them really blows.

I've just asked people around me "anyone find that Tauros?" And that usually works

that is not happening. Not now, not ever.

Look, the teenagers think it's cool that someone almost 30 years old plays it. I expect them to ask me to buy them beer pretty soon. Gonna be fun to see the disappointment on their faces when I say no

I deleted this today. I played it for a while so I know about it when my kids ask, but frankly, games that ask you to go to particular place or play at a particular time (aka Farmville), really make me feel tethered to a device way more than I want to be. It really makes me feel like I'm being controlled by a robot overlord.

You literally can play it anywhere at anytime.

What if you live in a neighborhood full of pidgies with no pokestop or pokegym within walking distance?

Plus, it was the "keep walking to hatch this egg," that made me say fuck you, to this app.

I will not be bossed around by a kids' game. I walk when I want to walk. I sit when I want to sit.
