I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I'm sure he would agree with that statement.

Politics aren't funny anymore.
Yeah I agree with this. And I don’t actually watch Samantha Bee. But from the bits I’ve seen, I find her much funnier than the rest.
I still watch Seth Meyers' A Closer Look regularly, but it hasn't been funny for a long time. Even John Oliver's laugh out loud moments have gotten few and far between.
Those moments usually aren't even related to politics. They're usually weird, random comments about a Nicolas Cage pillow or some other silly shit.

I’ll always laugh at the people who they interview waiting in line for a Trump rally.

But we shouldn’t talk about legitimately funny things in the Sam Bee thread.

My favorite comedy trope is the alternate descriptions of people.

ie Matt Gaetz, Florida Congressman and Man with Permanent "What's Up, Bro?" Face

I generally laugh at those no matter who is delivering it.

I think it’s important to recognize, however, that your work in the Random Picture Thread has you in the running for the RMOTY award annually :nice:
