Agreed, as I wrote about earlier. He takes advantage of a lot of people in here, but our culture tends to glamorise these sorts of people who are tyrants over their art (Kubrick, Welles, etc.).

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

They are in Wisconsin, and it is January. There's a chance that the freezer is the warmest place in the house, not the coldest.

I am glad you mentioned those few shots we get of Mark's films and how they do seem to have a technical competency about them. I have a copy of Coven, and I may watch it this weekend and report back if any of that shows up in the finished project.

Let's not forget that all of these motherfuckers are the reason Trump is going to be president.

Watching them watch Super Bowl 31 was a very surreal experience, since I can still remember being 11 years old and watching it while wearing my #11 jersey.

For me, the trilogy of pop culture with this fucking accent is this, Fargo, and Making a Murderer.

Mark reminded me of Randall from Clerks sometimes in his look and speech.

He seems like the kinda guy that will forever sabotage his own work, and looking at his credits, he's done exactly that. And the fact that he seems so willing to exploit others makes me think he should never be in positions of power.

Some of the shots in his movie did look good. He clearly isn't an idiot. They do look like pretentious student films, though.

Mike was great.

This was the late 90s? I could have sworn it was early 80s in the beginning . I guess you could still have those disparities before the internet really got going.

But I love these movie and music docs and could watch them all day.

To be fair, I could've used some instruction. I vividly remember standing over the toilet with an erection at 11 years old and basically screaming at it to take care of itself.
