But seriously, these guys deserve props for releasing a 36-minute album. Many of their contemporaries aren't able to trim the fat in such a way. It's a perfectly digestible statement. Slick, but compelling. This is so much better than the last Gorillaz album.
I'm in love with the opener, "The Ballad", and "Barbaric". It turns out I didn't have Albarn fatigue -- I just needed some Coxon in my life.
