Why is Craigy Ferg hosting Celebrity Name Game? It so does not suit him. He seems (understandably) bored.

I remember reading something, or at least I think I remember reading it if not I just made it up, that he was in negotiations for some sort of more prime time variety show type deal but it fell through

So I think his plan was to go from late night to doing a different type of comedy show earlier, and do the daytime game show too because it's easy and pays.

Yeah that's why he was constantly saying they were coming with him after announcing the end of the late late show.

Oh my god when I saw CHVRCHES a couple years ago between songs Lauren Mayberry was talking to someone near the front of the crowd and eventually points to him and says "you sir are a racist!" and I'm almost positive she was making a Craig Ferguson reference.
