Could be great if Real Friends and No More Parties are two of the lesser tracks. In case they're representative of the overall quality it will still be very good but nowhere near his best.
I think it's a little unusual how he announces the release date of the album at a time he didn't even finish one of the songs. Seems a little rushed? Not sure what to make of that.

Serious question: has Kanye now become a parody of himself?

I hate that phrase, "parody of himself" -- all it means is that his eccentricities have outlasted people's interest in them, which happens to most people with outlandish personalities. Kanye proclaiming this the greatest album ever is nothing he wouldn't have done for any of his other albums.

In all fairness, it's barely anything more than any artist with a new product to sell wouldn't say.
