On the plus side my buddy and I scored two tickets for the price of one to the Nebraska/Michigan State game tomorrow night. Pretty excited.

yeah, its just crazy because fans under the age of 60 have never really been exposed to this minus some bad football with callahan..are people just walking aroundBigRedLedbetter wrote:doug rr wrote:post your feelings please...I don't talk to my relatives that live there and live and die for the team..BigRedLedbetter wrote:doug rr wrote:you overpaidBigRedLedbetter wrote:This guy is an idiot!

Well, I am a fan through and through. At least I'd like to think so anyway. I was against the Riley hire from the get go.
It just makes no sense to hire a coach who is 62 and barely above .500 at a power 5 conference program. It was the
head scratcher of all head scratchers. Even more so than Callahan. At least with Callahan he had a little success. Yes, he
took a team to the Super Bowl but that Raiders team was loaded. Back on topic I just think Riley is an awful fit here. You
HAVE HAVE HAVE to run the football here. With the recruiting base that we have to pick from you have to run the football.
Maybe not quite as much as Osborne days but you have to be able to run the ball. Riley has a QB with no business running
a pass first offense running a pass first offense. Offensive linemen who don't know how to pass protect that are pass protecting.
It's all gonna end badly. We should have just hired Scott Frost or Paul Johnson. Maybe seen if someone like David Shaw (who we could
pay a lot more money) was interested. Just my 2 cents.
Happy to talk Husker football with ya, doug.
It's a very weird feeling. Obviously being 35 I remember all of the good years. My parents (in their 60s) are very unhappy/confused.doug rr wrote:yeah, its just crazy because fans under the age of 60 have never really been exposed to this minus some bad football with callahan..are people just walking aroundBigRedLedbetter wrote:doug rr wrote:post your feelings please...I don't talk to my relatives that live there and live and die for the team..BigRedLedbetter wrote:doug rr wrote:you overpaidBigRedLedbetter wrote:This guy is an idiot!

like zombies there? You and your friend should drink a beer every time michigan state scores and just take Uber home tomorrow...have fun
it is a weird feeling, I 'll give you that..I do feel bad for the players but the ass*ole in me is kind of enjoying it for some strange reason..its good to be put in your place for awhile and experience different feelings..anyway, your score prediction is better than most..I hope they keep it close but wonder if the guys have almost given up now...still can't believe the spread is only MS by 6BigRedLedbetter wrote:It's a very weird feeling. My Dad (huge Devaney guy) asks me all the time why we didn't just hire Scott Frost. I don't have a good answer for him.
Just do that and see what the hell happens. Could NOT be any worse.
I just learned what uber was a couple weeks ago. I am the last person on earth with a smart phone. We have a DD. I think we will keep it close but
they will pull away late. I will say Spartans-44 Huskers-31.
