From what I can tell, it sounds like STBC mixed with Supersonic. I'm OK with that, but I want better lyrics than Supersonic.

I feel dirty for having wasted time listening to such a shitting recording. If you're gonna do that, why not just rip it to an mp3? Fuck people. :shake:

Can't wait to hear it without all the interference. Sounds pretty cool.

Big time. Motorhead had sex with Husker Du.

So turns out the little clip we'd heard is the most exciting part of the song. It's "Gonna See My Friend" all over again.

I really liked the sound of the chorus melody. And there's a Mike solo, which will please the jammers (albeit not a long solo, but it's a solo).

Guitars sound way more interesting than that.

I meant because everybody was so excited about Pearl Jam trying something so new and different and heavy when we heard that 10-second GSMF clip, and then the song turned out sounding just okay.

I'm sure it's just the interface but Vedder sounds very...evil.

I thought you said it was dull and generic. You think the rest is worse than that?

Hmm, no shit. Nice. Nice that it exists, that is.

STBC/Comatose.

A song Eddie won't be able to pull off live.
It's already down.
Weird...I got an error using chrome, but it's OK in firefox.

Interesting...can't really make it out, but I think I'll like it. Hard to tell right now.

I like it too. I'm talking about the general board consensus, though, and how those initial 10 seconds pointed at something different than what the finished product ended up being.

I started to regret listening to it when I heard how crappy the sound was but I'm glad I did. Sounds VERY interesting. Can't wait to hear the clean version in a few hours!!

I think the rest is more in line with the kind of song that you'd expect from latter-day PJ.
