Agree about Troy..He still can dazzle from time to time, but nowhere near as consistent. One thing I like about this organization is that they are not afraid to cut ties with fan favorites when their time has come (Hines Ward comes to mind).Peeps wrote:as much as i enjoyed watching troy in his prime he is now a shell of that. this might be the first season in 4 or 5 years (it seems) that he hasnt missed any games due to injury. id have no problem letting him go from a business/return point of view
also ben asking for a trade wouldnt be too big of an issue either. the steelers do need to draft a heir so to speak and it needs to happen soon

Word is Rex cancelled the offensive and defensive team meetings last night and took the boys to play games at Dave and Busters.Dr. Van Nostrand wrote:What Dave and busters thingred calzolaio wrote:Lolzzz at the Jets getting crushed today. They pretty much controlled the entire game, total fuckfest of a second quarter aside.Peeps wrote:jesus christ psyco...spolier that shit
pittsburgh had no business being in that game...after the 2 qt the adjustments lebeau made were incredible.

that terrible fake fg detroit ran was a gift as well.Kral wrote:They pretty much controlled the entire game, total fuckfest of a second quarter aside.Peeps wrote:jesus christ psyco...spolier that shit

Team is incredibly shaky, fortunately they are in a piss poor division, ala the Giants.
Alex Smith was so bad I don't know if anything would've made a difference...he might be a perfectly ok QB when you have a defense that's able to control the game and a guy like Charles who can run the ball, but once you're behind by more than one score with him you're almost guaranteed to be toastGreen Habit wrote:I know the Broncos almost always beat the Chiefs at home, but that was still a nervous game to watch. Still, fuck yeah.
I really have to question Andy Reid not going for it on two occasions. The worst one was when they had it on the Denver 1--even if you don't get it you back the Broncos up very deep. The other one was when they had 4th and about 4 in no-man's land when they were down by 14.
