"Russian forces have reportedly bombed a theater in the Ukrainian city of Mariupol that was sheltering hundreds of people. Overhead footage confirmed by CNN even indicates residents had written the word for ‘CHILDREN’ in big white letters outside the building itself. Footage shared online after the bombing shows the theater had been destroyed.

A casualty count from the attack, if any, is unconfirmed.
‘It is still impossible to estimate the scale of this horrific and inhumane act, because the city continues to shell residential areas,’ Mariupol City Council said in a statement on Telegram."

The Clash have given their blessing to a new version of their song London Calling by a Ukrainian punk band called Beton. Kyiv Calling, recorded near the frontline, has lyrics that call upon the rest of the world to support the defence of the country from Russian invaders.

All proceeds of what is now billed as a “war anthem” will go to the Free Ukraine Resistance Movement (FURM) to help fund a shared communications system that will alert the population to threats and lobby for international support.
