Be careful let’s enjoy what we have

In the universe where they want it to get all the nominations and know it won't against other dramas. It's a political move, my guy.

Look at what Shogun got in terms of nominations. FX doesn't want The Bear v Shogun. They want The Bear AND Shogun.

While this is true, I wonder if the sort-of-tepid response to Season 3 is going to cause it to perform worse this year than last. Hopefully not, because Season 2 was an absolute nuke.

I didn’t mention that in my post, but yeah, for sure, networks could also game this to get as many trophies as possible. I can’t recall which series were involved, but there has been some hand-wringing in recent years about what constitutes a “limited series” because shows have been moved there to better compete .

For sure.

There was talk about Shogun in the limited series category. But then they started talking about a S2 and had to make a decision on whether or not to greenlight it in part based on where they wanted it slotted for awards.

Bear vs Shogun sounds like a pretty sweet matchup as long as it’s not a docile panda

In "Forks" when Richie makes the deep-dish pizza run... does anyone else think the final plating looked like shit? The cheese wasn't even melty at that stage. It just looked sad.

But definitely a cool gesture.

I remember it looking just as gross and pointless as actual Chicago deep dish. So it worked for me.
