That wasn't a dream, and it wasn't a cover.

Doin' well, my friend. Thanks for asking. And I feel like I haven't been around in forever. How are you?

Excellent. I had catfish for dinner tonight and I finished Christmas shopping for my wife earlier in the day. Also just read this article about one of my neighboring towns, which was good for a laugh/eyeroll:

All in all, I'd say solid A/A- kind of day.

Glad to hear it. I just saw Sir Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart in a production of one of my favorite Pinter plays, "No Man's Land." It was transcendent. I actually teared up. Which is remarkable because it's kind of an absurd comedy. But anyway. It was amazing and I'm so glad I got to see it.
My evening was better than Let The Records Play. And I love Let the Records Play.

I decided yesterday that this song reminds me of Joan Jett

Just wanted to bump this thread so we can all appreciate this misunderstood and underappreciated little number.

Its getting better with age. It had alot of potential, but once you get over what could have been it turns out not to be bad. It like a 10 win football season when your team starts 4-0.

I like the riff and the verses, the chorus is a letdown for me

I like the chorus (which is kind of odd because I hate the unemployable chorus) but it does feel a little out of place

does this song sound any better knowing Ed's (and probably the boys') soft spot for Elton John? I guess they weren't pitching for that but I can hear the similarity now

This song is better than 90% of this album.

this has turned into a song that I mostly really like, verses are really good, bridge is really good, outro jam is really good; the chorus is slightly ill-fitting to me but not "bad" in itself
