I definitely did an about face on that album when I did my U2 journey. In fact, I’d say I would put it in the range of their best albums. Not the top. Achtung Baby gets that for me by a mile. But in the conversation for me with the albums just below that.

Yeah No Line was great. Wrong album with the wrong single at the wrong time. They should have put an every Breaking Wave on it which I believe they were saving. Also I think at the end of the decade cycle following the financial crash this more stoic album just didn’t gauge the climate of the time.

Finally got around the watch this, agreed.
So interesting to watch Bono the Showman have to reel it in at the start. The humility in the Stuck in a Moment intro is fantastic and always like hearing the tune.

That still of Bono makes me feel old.

He seemed to look quite a bit younger when I saw the Joshua tree tour a few years ago (5?)

Granted he's much older than Bono but Springsteen seems to have aged 10 years in the last 5 (or 3!).

Wife and I are going to a Sphere show over our birthdays weekend. Haven’t been to Vegas for twenty years.

I am going to U2's concert at the sphere in Vegas in December. My GF's aunt used to work with the band and apparently we are going to meet them all before the show.
