it's because i'm uncultured.
Have you had an oblongata?
i've only had a megalodonga.

a few weeks ago i took a day trip with my wife to the northeastern part of the state. she had to go tour a laundry facility up there that her hospital is considering using. while she toured the facility i walked around the downtown area. a few decent local shops, one of them being a coffee shop that was a gas station many moons ago.

i bought a bag of beans from there and opened them this morning.

so good...

Was there a meth lab underneath it?

I’m trying one of these cold brew things from Starbucks. We’re working the soccer game tonight and last night wiped me out. So I’m going with some coffee for caffeine. I’m holding out for the best…

It’s Starbucks so it probably won’t be good

I don’t particularly care for it. Very strong coffee taste. I thought these were supposed to be milder.

we currently have two coffee makers on a little counter space in the kitchen because my wife switched to decaf about two years ago, and I can't bring myself to drink decaf.

this morning she asked me if i wanted to get a moccamaster with two carafes. initially, i got excited about the prospect of having a nicer coffee maker in the house. for the last few years, i've had a cuisinart that gets the water temp up to the "industry" level. i've gotten my money's worth out of it since i drink coffee daily.

i went on moccamaster's website, and it turns out they only make brewers for glass carafes, with a hot plate, or thermal carafes - sans hot plate. personally, i don't want a thermal. i know they keep your coffee hot longer, but they're a bitch to clean, and after a while the coffee sticks to the carafe no matter how well you wash it.

fortunately, the Ratio Six, which is pretty comparable in price, accommodates thermal or glass carafes... :luv: :luv:

I might have to up the bean game too.

I'm all for a bargain, but that better be a good cup of coffee.

Chances are it's not.
