I assure you that your lack of assurance is baseless.
Why do you hit the return button after a quote? It kinda F's up our chemistry...

The last time I saw Inside Job live it was pretty awesome.

My only real issues with this album are some editing decisions and the artwork.
It's a good listen though.

Less than 2 and a half minutes of awesome. I wanted more yet I didn't at the same time.

Fuck guys, I had to read through like 7 pages of this shit to see wtf is going on.
How do you feel about songs such as Pilate and Cropduster, Django?

Like 'em both.
Pilate just fits Yield and Cropduster's progressions and changes are really interesting.

How can you not like Evacuation? Are you bobbing your head enough?

It's not an all-time fav of mine, but it's definitely among the best from the last 3 records or so. Love the AOL Sessions version:

"Comatose" is a song I'm always changing my opinion about. Sometimes it feels like a less interesting, less ferocious "Spin the Black Circle". Other times it's like... fuck yeah.

That might be the problem!
But seriously, here's my issue with that song:
1. It doesn't fit the album. After Breakerfall and God's Dice, they need to keep the tempo up or cool it down. The album has kind of the same pacing as Vs., so I would expect a slow to mid tempo number, ala Daughter. If God's Dice flows right into Light Years, this album is easily my favorite.
2. The song itself it disjointed. Knowing it's written by a drummer, I know it's gonna be different but this song to me is a bunch of pieces sewn together to make a song. It doesn't have any real flow to it. The repetitive "chorus" doesn't help either.
3. The vocals. Not really my favorite lyrics nor delivery.
4. The out takes. I hate to go here, as I supported Inside Job for making the record. So as to not be a hypocrite, I have to tip my hat to this song for beating out the triplets. (Sad, Fatal and Education). But how does that happen? I didn't like the song before those leaked and I sure as shit didn't like it anymore after I heard what could have replaced it.
Music is very subjective and certain things resonate with people. I get it. But this song really hurts this album overall in my opinion and prevents it from being the crown jewel of the catalog, which it would be without it.

I don't understand number 4 on your list. The song made the record so it must be a success, no?
