OMG he'll hate it

Other than his dumb comments about Captain America's hair (who cares about that shit?), tree_'s critiques hold up. Infinity War's biggest weakness are those comedic moments, a lot of which really fall flat. Ragnarok is like that too, but way way worse.

I haven't seen this movie but if it's anywhere near as funny as Thor: Ragnarok, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of it.

It's not as dense with jokes, but the jokes are of a similar Dreamworks Animation level

That's okay. Seems like a weird movie to overload with jokes. At least, based on the trailer I watched and the assumption that people die en masse. Probably works better having fewer jokes.

I wouldn’t say it’s filled with jokes as much as characters responding with sarcasm and things said to defuse a situation.

I read once the only reason that Spider-Man banters so much is because even after all the time he’s been in the hero business he still gets freaked out and it’s his way to calm himself down and take his mind off him fighting a powerhouse he has no business in.

If you as a person have been in an overwhelming situation you either clam up and freak out or start making wise cracks to alleviate the anxiety your about to be overwhelmed with

Yes I agree I can see teenage Spiderman talking this way from time to time but every character all the time? It just feels like the writers/directors/Disney fuccs are afraid that letting some moments breathe just isn't captivating enough and it will lose my attention and it's insulting AF and just plain uninteresting.

It's hard to blame them though cause it's what sells. They're driving their top of the line Teslas selling easy cheesy bullshit to braindead McDonald's devouring moronic masses... While beautiful artistic meaningful films go unseen and their creators die broken with one ear and whatnot. Sad state of affairs.

thats the beauty of art....everyone has an opinion on it and yet no opinion is right or wrong. if youre so saddened by the state of affairs i suggest writing a book, adapt it to a screen play, get funding and make your own movies.

they are extremely popular junk food... and yeah.. there are worse things... but peeps talks as if an autuer made this movie when in fact it's a bunch of quarter pounder with cheese shareholders.

The fact that qpwcs exists isn't what bothers me, ... It's the current state of obesity ... The supply and demand is preventing good movies from being made.

oh i see, probably your best course of action since these movies are being made and enjoyed is perhaps not to bother to go see them or comment on them. im willing to bet your life may be a bit more enjoyable if you do so, but im guessing you like to piss and moan about what the kids like because without doing so would require a smidge of an effort on your behalf and we cant have that
