Okay, so I kept going with this, and my imaginary version of PJ released two follow-up albums.

The first follow-up got weirder and a bit rock-ier. Sort of early Flaming Lips-esque. A lot of people probably made fun of how much they sang about Christmas. The band seems to be having a lot of fun playing together. There are quiet songs, but they are never out-and-out sad/depressing. It's KD's favorite album and stip's worst nightmare.
Spoiler: show
1. Cant Keep
2. Happy When I'm Crying
3. Rival
4. Evacuation
5. Wishlist
6. In the Moonlight
7. Strangest Tribe
8. Fatal
9. Last Kiss
10. Get Right
11. Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town
12. Someday at Christmas
13. Mankind
14. Long Road
15. Let Me Sleep
16. Yellow Ledbetter
Then they seemed to get angry. Things felt noticeably less fun. Their playful buoyancy was replaced by tongue-in-cheek defiance. The music felt much more aggressive. Their quiet songs seemed to veer into more overtly gloomy territory. By the end of the album, a lot of people were somewhat concerned for their well-being.
Spoiler: show
1. Tremor Christ
2. No Way
3. Alone
4. Not for You
5. Satan's Bed
6. Corduroy
7. Whipping
8. Dead Man
9. Do the Evolution
10. Spin the Black Circle
11. Of the Girl
12. Help Help
13. Sleight of Hand

I like where your head's at but take out 4, 5, 9, 11 and 14 and you have yourself sweet perfection.

That playlist looks killer for me. Interesting considering how much we tend to disagree about this band.

This is (arguably) my favorite side of the band. I'm not sure about Release as the opener, though.

The transition from Release to GTF is so good, though.

I mean, yeah. I love them both and together as a unit they are also great. Maybe I should give this a shot before making more judgments.

What do you mean? Like are the tracks carefully sequenced? Because hell yes. Sequencing is all the fun of making mixes.
