I usually find election night exciting but this year sounds like it will be pretty anticlimactic since it will likely stretch out a couple days

Door to door 18 minutes. Voting should always be this easy

Tuesday is going to be horribly dull and meaningless but also difficult to look away from. I might take a sleeping pill and attempt to watch The Irishman.

I'm not working for all of november so ill be watching and putting anything and everything in my body to help me get through however long this might take.

I wish I felt as much certainty about Tuesday being unremarkable as some of you do. I’ll be thrilled if it is, though.

I want to note that I didn't say unremarkable. I think plenty of remarkable things will happen, like the sitting president declaring victory before a huge chunk of votes are counted, threatening legal action, etc. But I think these things will be mostly dull and meaningless--the experience of watching the count come in on Tuesday will be an exercise in wonkism where you have to either find yourself caring about the historic voting trends of outlying districts or put stock in our moron president's pageantry. Both of these things are really tedious. The actual closure will come later in the week, if at all.
