I really want to hear Yellow Moon! It sounds like a late night smoky room kind of ballad.

Do we know who wrote the music? The title is so subtle and unassuming.

I don't think we know.
"In the verse it has a odd time signature: 6/8 - 5/8 ... I noted "echo-y vocals" and something like a dark "fairy tale"."
This has me excited.

Yeah that's cool. A fairytale lyric would match what sounds like trippy pop elsewhere on the album.

I would bet heavy money if you went to every PJ fan out there and asked them to rank songs, evacuation AND in the moonlight would appear towards the bottom. I wouldn't be surprised if evacuation was in the bottom five songs. It may be dead last for me. It's terrible.

I get that you disagree and enjoy these song (to each his own), but saying the heavy majority of PJ fans like these songs is hysterical. These songs suck (my take).

So, my point is, in term's of overall PJ fans (not just hipster, "I like this because no one else does" fans), his material is not well received at all. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves.

So, in other words, you concede that PJ's own fanbase don't like Matt Cameron songs. Yeh, this pretty much echos my thoughts too. His songs suck.

No, my point is I dont care what "Pearl Jam fans" think of what good song writing is or how they feel about MC's songs. They are idiots.

I would never ever argue that the heavy majority of PJ likes these songs. I'm just speaking from my point of view and I couldn't care less about the majority of Pearl Jam fans. Most of them probably don't think Evacuation and Cropduster are wonderful, I agree. I still think they are.

It did not. That was a stupid joke by that one guy. At least we have no confirmation of this at all.

That was already debunked as tomfoolery by Little Lump.

Most PJ fans think Matt is 'God'. This rather throws a spanner in the works concerning your 'majority rules' theory.

Didn't one of the listeners from yesterday ask BOB about Cold Concession? If the listener is familiar with the song clearly they would have been able to make the connection if it was actually there, no?
