So bad, he's making A-Rod the good guy in this thing.
His "My job description does not entail a farewell tour" quote had all the self-awareness of a circa-2012 A=Rod.
If A-Rod is such a drag on their chances to win games as Girardi alludes to, why was he hitting cleanup last night?

Not to mention the fact that the Yankees just had a fire sale, they are clearly not in win now mode.

they are only like 3 games out of the wildcard, though.

The Cubs 'accidentally' played Smack My Bitch up after Chapman finished an inning. Because obscure 1997 songs always get played at MLB games.

Guys, the best player in baseball this year has been Mike Trout. But he won't win because his team sucks, which is stupid.

Beyond that, Altuve, Betts and Donaldson are in a pretty tight three-way race.

The Rizzo catch is the new greatest catch of all time I guess. It's a good play but the average obese American must view it as a Christ like miracle to be able to jump up on a pretty short brick wall I guess.

Dansby Swanson made his debut last night. Will His arbitration eligibility be the same if he debuted on opening day next year?

Yeah, anything this season at this point won't count as a full season, so he'd still have 3 full years after this year before arbitration

He didn't seem ready. Let the Swanson Era begin! I look forward to seeing him and Ozzie Albies together next year.

At A's Vs. White Sox. The US Cellular main concourse is really fantastic. Wide, site lines and tons of food and drink choices.

Unlike Wrigley and its horrible concourse, no site lines, traffic jams by the merchandise tables, lack of exits, and bus pickup zone right outside the main exit?

on a side note, to all the coaches who ever told us running through first base is way faster than sliding... I award you a silver medal :D
