shut it..that reveal was amazing...it's visible in the periphery for a couple of shots if you look for it..

but that reveal was perfect..pure star wars :)

It would have been great without the whole
"What about that ship... No, its garbage" part.
I think that dialogue was absolutely necessary. Otherwise why would it be on that planet? If it was known as an incredible ship with an amazing history then why would some dipshit on a desert planet own it now?

that's a great point..one of the rumours was that Rey&Finn meet han while trying to escape and hes digging around sand dunes trying to find the falcon..

the way they have it in the movie was pretty much perfect for me and the subsequent explanation from han about how he came to have it stolen from him..

this worked 100% better than Rey uncovering it in some sand..or han

Of course it did. It's a planet where spaceships are junked or left to rust in the desert.

Saying, "that piece of garbage" in no way explained why that ship was on that planet.
they didn't say hunk of junk?

as above, Han explains it was stolen from him.

Less people is the way to go unless you run the cinema.

what did you make of the music lads?

Ive been listening to the soundtracks from the OT the last week or two, and theyre all so huge and brilliant then subtle and heartbreaking..

first time i went i maybe naturally heard all the familiar elements when theyre used...but on the second sitting i really listened to it and it's not great..doesnt approach anything like the scale or grandeur of the OT...for me anyways..i will get it and listen to it alone too, but music being sooo important in the Star Wars films, this one is by far the runt of the litter...

The cinema I went to had it up on at least four screens that day, I just bought tix for the gold class cinema rather than one of the larger rooms.

I think I might go and see it again next weekend.

And Hans explanation was fine. I liked that.

didnt they?

so brilliant to see that become a consensus and to know they're so quickly likeable and relateable..the story is fucked if you dont like your leads..these two are great.

Got to the theatre at 6. They seated at 6:10. Everyone was quiet as a mouse during the movie. Really good experience. Some of the costumes were on point.

hate when people make me realise shit...

the whole sequence with Han, the two gangs and the dangerous animals..that whole sequence serves no purpose really..except to establish Han is back being a scoundrel, but the story didnt need it at that length
