The article is well written but Wrong. Here’s. Hamill also clearly saying this isn’t his Luke but he’s also wrong. If anyone is allowed to be a bit too attached to their headcanon, it's Mark. Especially since he and Lucas spoke about Luke resuming the role in this era as the Alec Guiness character. He's been carrying that around for over 30 years...I love mark and obviously he is more than entitled to his opinion. However, his view of Luke would have made for a far less daring movie that would have drawn its own criticisms about being formulaic

hahaha, i have a pal who writes really long and in depth emails when he's passionate about stuff. his monday morning packers emails analyzing the the previous day's game are epic, for example.

yesterday, he finally put his thoughts together on TLJ and sent it out to our group. i put it all into a star wars crawl generator and sent it out to the rest of the group for the lulz. it went on for well over a minute.

so saw it for the third time. After the opening scene this is a pretty slowly paced movie until the bits where the stories all come together, at which point, knowing full well what is happening, I have butterflies the rest of the movie.


The Mrs. liked it. hard to get more out of her. I was telling her about some of the larger drama surrounding this movie. Her response is that fans need to relax and not freak out about stuff.


There were a number of younger viewers (8-12) sitting near me on this viewing, and it was great watching them get sucked into the story--the things they laughed at, the moments they gasped. Really heartwarming
